Call the office at 480-737-4140 to request a refill 5 days before the medication runs out and ask your pharmacist to fax or email the order to the office. Please confirm that the prescription was called in to the pharmacy prior it up.
Although this depends on your insurance, insurances such as Medicare, Workers’ Compensation, liens and most insurance PPO plans do not require a referral. A referral is not needed to be seen at Purcell Orthopedic Institute. We do, however, value referrals from your doctor and we strive to keep your doctor in the loop as to your condition, treatment and progress.
A Concierge Practice is a unique practice that treats each patient in a timely , thorough and compassionate fashion, while recognizing that you are more than just an orthopedic problem. Dr. Purcell recognizes that there may be issues involving your independence or ability to work or play that need to be addressed on an individual basis. We realize that this takes time and that a personal touch is needed to both reach the correct diagnosis and explain it, as well, to our patients.
There are times that we need to think outside the box with regard to treatment recommendations. Sometimes traditional medical care is not sufficient to create the cure or improvement we are seeking. For those circumstances, alternative care such as acupuncture , oral supplements or even cognitive treatment, such as biofeedback, is considered.
